Conservatives exceeded spending limits in 2006 campaign?

NDP MP Pat Martin has said: "You shouldn't be able to buy an election in this country because you have deeper pockets or a fatter checkbook."

It's thinking like this that has kept the NDP out office since their inception as a federal political party. Thanks for your advice Mr. Martin but the Conservatives already know how to win an election.
