With little doubt that the Arctic is rich in resources such as oil, Prime Minister Stephen Harper is on another trip to the far north as an act to show Canada's sovereignty in the area.
This is pointless.
Once substantial amounts of oil are found, here's how things will play out:
Barnabus, leader of the seals, will be made out to be a murderous despot.
The American government will bombard the media with charts
and graphs detailing Barnabus' stockpile of weapons of mass destruction.
Troops will be sent in to liberate the north.
And at the end of the day everything will belong to Halliburton.
